About the role

We are looking for an engaged librarian at 20% employment who wants to develop and drive the school library's activities together with the school staff.

As a librarian here, you play a key role in strengthening students' love for reading, information competence, and linguistic development. You work closely with teachers and school leadership to make the library a vibrant meeting place for learning, reading, and creativity.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is proactive, relationship-building, and has a genuine interest in the reading development of children and young people.

You:

• Are a qualified librarian or have other relevant education/experience.
• Have knowledge of literature for children and young people, as well as information retrieval and source criticism.
• Have experience working in a school library or educational setting (meritorious).
• Are good at building relationships and collaborating with students and staff.
• Are structured, creative, and driven by developing operations.

Your responsibilities:

• Be responsible for and develop the school library's activities.
• Promote students' love for reading and language development through activities and projects.
• Support students in information retrieval, source criticism, and media and information literacy.
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate the library's resources into teaching.
• Plan and implement reading-promoting measures and activities.
