We are now looking for a Nurse to join our team in a fixed-term position that may lead to permanent employment.

The Eye Clinic in Lycksele is part of Eye Clinic Västerbotten, which provides specialist care in the field of eye diseases in Västerbotten and the northern region.

About the Role

We are looking for someone who is curious about new tasks and enjoys varied work with very satisfied patients.

Responsibilities

As a nurse with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that make people feel safe. The work is partly independent, while you are also part of a team in a unit with high competence in a high-tech environment.

Using medical technology equipment, you will, among other things:

• Perform eye examinations.
• Prepare patients for doctor visits and surgeries.
• Conduct various tests to assess visual acuity.
• Provide advice to patients via telephone.

We offer an independent, varied, and challenging job where you have the opportunity to learn new things every day, always with the patient in focus. The work takes place during daytime hours, meaning you will have evenings and weekends off.

We will develop an individual introduction plan together with you so that you feel secure in your start and have good opportunities to learn the job.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse. Experience in eye care or clinic work is an advantage.

You are a positive person with an open attitude, which contributes to a good atmosphere at the workplace and ensures patients feel safe. Since teamwork is an important part of your job, you have good collaboration skills.

As both tasks and pace can vary, you should enjoy variety, be stress-resistant, have the ability to solve emerging tasks, and be able to take initiative. We want you to be engaged, have a strong team spirit, and contribute your competence to find good solutions at our clinic.

Employment Conditions

• Type of Employment: Fixed-term employment (temporary position).
• Duration: 6 months or longer.
• Working Hours: Daytime.
