YOUR NEW JOB

As a teacher at Granö Preschool-School, you work with grades 1–3 together with a preschool teacher who also teaches preschool class. There are a total of 8 students at the school distributed across these 4 grade levels. We also have access to a special education teacher who supports the student group. Here, we want a warm and inviting atmosphere to prevail. It should be fun to go to school in the morning, and all students should feel seen and affirmed. We want to create good conditions for lifelong learning through a secure and permissive environment.

YOUR COMPETENCE

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the qualification to teach up to grade 3. It is positive if you use methods from cooperative learning in your teaching. In this recruitment, we are looking for a teacher who thrives in a small context and who is self-reliant. You have pedagogical insight, a great commitment to your assignment, and you see the strength in collegial learning. You are self-reliant and structured, which is evident in that you take responsibility for and structure your own work. You can also prioritize and adjust in work when conditions change. It is also important that you can collaborate well with others and that you create and maintain good relationships.

REQUIREMENTS

• Teaching certification
• For this position, you must present a valid extract from the Police Register of Offenses before employment.

The two educators in the preschool and the educator at the leisure center are also part of your work team, and you all together create the best conditions for all children/students in the operation.

Granö Preschool-School is located in a beautiful natural setting in the middle of the village, close to forests and wonderful nature. On the schoolyard, there is a football field; in winter, we have an ice rink and access to a ski track. The school facilities include a preschool, leisure center, preschool class, and grades 1 to 3, with its own gymnasium and cafeteria.
