WELCOME to join our team at Flemingsbergs Primary Health Care Centre in Flemingsberg Centre, with easy access to buses and commuter trains (approx. 15 minutes to the city center). We are expanding our team and are looking for a General Practitioner (GP). Since 2014, we have been an academic primary care center focused on students, research, and patient safety.

About Us

Our center offers services from GPs, district nurses, home care, Child Health Services (BVC), a counselor, and a laboratory. We provide healthcare to the local population as well as others who seek our services. You should enjoy working with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. In addition, we offer benefits such as wellness subsidies and free healthcare.

Responsibilities:

Standard duties for a doctor with specialist competence in general medicine, both at the clinic and in home care.

We use Tele Q, chat, and video consultations, as well as the electronic health record system Take Care.

Personal Qualities:

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude who contributes to a good work environment. You should be collaborative yet able to make independent decisions. We value candidates who are interested in driving the development of our primary care center forward. Workload may vary, requiring flexibility, strong prioritization skills, and a structured approach. There is an opportunity to work from home via video meetings. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed physician with specialist competence in general medicine and eligibility to work within the Swedish healthcare system.

Employment Type

Permanent position, 100% Monday–Friday daytime hours. Part-time options can be discussed. Probationary period may apply. Start date by agreement.

For patient-facing roles within the Stockholm County Council (SLSO):

  • A background check is conducted prior to the employment decision, according to SLSO's overarching guidelines.
  • Employees with patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination via occupational health services before starting.
  • In addition to a Swedish professional license, good knowledge of Swedish at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed staff with patient contact.
