The Education Department is responsible for preschools, after-school centers, primary schools, upper secondary schools, and adapted primary and upper secondary schools. The Position and Responsibilities

Trädgårdsstadsskolan is looking for an engaged and certified teacher with qualifications to teach Woodwork/Metalwork. Qualifications in other subjects are an advantage.

You have a relational approach and clear leadership in the classroom with the student in focus. You are responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of teaching based on current regulatory documents and legislation. Your working style is characterized by guidance and stimulation to meet students at both group and individual levels. You have good knowledge of grading and assessment and work in a structured manner. You plan your teaching systematically and clearly, and create pedagogical plans that are communicated to students and guardians via the school's digital platforms. You collaborate closely with subject colleagues and develop the operations towards set goals and decisions. You are convinced that collaboration and shared vision benefit student development. You see good collaboration with guardians as an important success factor in working for the best interests of the student.

What We Offer You

Trädgårdsstadsskolan is a K-9 school with approximately 680 students from K-9, located in Tullinge, Botkyrka Municipality. The school is built in modules with workrooms in close proximity to classrooms and recreation areas, providing good conditions for building good relationships with students. You Who Apply to Us

Requirements:

• Teacher certification with qualifications to teach Woodwork/Metalwork grades 3 – 9
• Previous experience in teaching craft/woodwork.
• Previous experience working at the junior high school level (grades 7-9)
• Good collaboration skills and a professional approach – you thrive working in teams and contributing to the school's joint development
• Very good language skills in both Swedish and English, in speech and writing. A language test will be conducted, according to Botkyrka Municipality's guidelines.

Advantages:

• Advantageous if you have qualifications in another subject relevant to the school
• Competence in digital tools and learning platforms, such as V-Klass, Google Classroom, or similar

You are a clear leader and have an easy time building good relationships. You have a positive view of students, a solution-focused working method, and you conduct structured, high-quality teaching. You enjoy the role of mentor, are relationship-building and collaborative to meet the needs of the individual and the operation.
