At Attendo, we are looking for summer substitutes for our nursing home on Nämndemansgatan in Motala. This is a modern nursing home with its own atrium courtyard, providing a bright and welcoming atmosphere. The facility has 54 apartments spread over three floors, of which 36 are for people with dementia.

About the role

As a substitute here, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and stimulating environment for our residents during the summer when permanent staff are on vacation. You are responsible for providing good care and support, creating a positive and social atmosphere, and contributing to various activities that brighten up daily life.

Responsibilities

Your duties include providing personal care based on the individual's needs and wishes. You will perform documentation in the business system and work according to decided interventions and the facility's routines. Additionally, you will help prepare, cook, and serve meals, as well as make beds, clean, and do laundry. You will also ensure that residents have an active daily life and facilitate outdoor time based on needs and wishes. You need to collaborate with external and internal contacts such as guardians, relatives, nurses, and rehabilitation staff.

Qualifications

You must have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, and you have good computer skills.

Experience from working in elderly care and with medication delegation is an advantage. We prefer that you are trained as a nursing assistant (undersköterska).
