Do you want to become part of our team? We are currently looking for a Nurse/Specialist Nurse for our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)!

The Role of the Nurse

The nurse shall, in accordance with scientific evidence and proven experience and under their own professional responsibility, plan and carry out targeted nursing care in consultation with the patient, relatives, the responsible physician, and based on departmental routines.

The tasks are highly varied, and you will work with many different specialties, such as surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, urology, and pediatrics.

Additionally, you will participate in ongoing quality assurance work.

We offer you a permanent position, full-time, with start date as agreed. This is a rotating day/night position with a fixed schedule.

At the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit, we care for patients who are about to undergo or have undergone surgery. By focusing on the patient's individual needs, we ensure that pre- and post-operative care leads to a safe and secure awakening for the patient after the surgical procedure.

We offer interventions aimed at minimizing the patient's experience of discomfort in the best possible way and ensuring the return/maintenance of stable vital parameters.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse and preferably have specialist training in surgery/orthopedics or alternatively emergency, anesthesia, or intensive care. We would appreciate it if you have experience within operating and intensive care activities, post-anesthesia care activities, or previous work within surgical clinical activities.

It is important to us that you as a person are structured, stable, and have a high work ethic. To thrive with us, we see that you have good collaboration skills, are empathetic, and flexible. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
