We are currently looking for a babysitter for a family in Örebro, Sweden.

About us

NPF Barnvakten offers childcare for families with children with NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders).

NPF stands for neuropsychiatric disability, and the most common disabilities are: ADHD, Autism, ADD, AST, Tourette's syndrome, and Speech disorders. Our goal is to help as many people with special needs as possible, which is why you will undergo internal training in NPF before starting your first assignment. The assignment:

Number of children and age: 1 child, 9 years old
Days and times: As needed
Desired start date: Immediately
Childcare takes place at the family's home or in a nearby park.
Location: Örebro

We are looking for someone who:

Has some form of experience with children, preferably children with NPF (ADHD, Autism, ID, or similar)
Has experience with low-affective interaction and clear pedagogical methods
Is responsible and has a genuine interest in children
Wants a developing and rewarding side job
Is pedagogical, secure, and calm
Driving license is a merit
Experience with visual supports/TAKK is a merit

Typical tasks may include:

Picking up from preschool/school
Planning activities at and outside the home
Acting as support during excursions
Cooking simple meals
Bathing
Activation, socialization, and respite
