We are currently looking for a babysitter for a family in Örebro, Sweden.

About us

NPF Barnvakten offers childcare to families with children who have neurodevelopmental disorders (NPF).

NPF stands for neurodevelopmental disorder, and the most common conditions include: ADHD, Autism, ADD, AST, Tourette's syndrome, and Speech disorders. Our goal is to help as many people with special needs as possible, which is why you will undergo internal NPF training before starting your first assignment. Working with NPF Barnvakten offers a developing, joyful, and incredibly rewarding part-time job.

The assignment:

Number of children and age: 1 child, 9 years old

Days and times: As needed

Desired start date: Immediately

Childcare takes place at the family's home or in a nearby park.

Location: Örebro

We are looking for someone who:

• Has some form of experience with children, preferably children with NPF (ADHD, Autism, ID, or similar).
• Has experience with low-affective interaction and clear pedagogical methods.
• Is responsible and has a genuine interest in children.
• Wants a developing and rewarding part-time job.
• Is pedagogical, secure, and calm.

Advantageous if you have a driver's license.

Advantageous if you have experience with visual supports/TAKK.

Typical tasks may include:

• Picking up from preschool/school.
• Organizing activities at and outside the home.
• Providing support during excursions.
• Preparing simple meals.
• Bedtime routines.
• Activation, socialization, and respite care.
