Veterinarian at Djuriverse in Norrtälje – Full-time or Part-time with Ownership Opportunity

Djuriverse is a relatively new and rapidly growing veterinary clinic in Norrtälje, established in October 2024, focusing on modern, accessible, and high-quality small animal care.

Today, we serve approximately 1,600 customers and continue to grow rapidly. We work with preventive care, medical investigations, dentistry, and surgery in a personalized clinic environment with short decision-making paths.

We are now looking for a licensed veterinarian who wants to become an important part of our team – on a full-time or part-time basis.

The Role

We are looking for you who have a Swedish veterinary license and at least 3 years of experience as a veterinarian with a Swedish license. You are confident in clinical work with small animals and have experience with various types of surgery and dentistry.

The role may also involve some mentoring of colleagues, newer veterinarians, or other clinic staff.

Responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose, and treat small animals
• Perform and assist in surgical procedures
• Work with dentistry, including dental examinations and treatments
• Conduct medical investigations and preventive care
• Provide advice to pet owners regarding health, treatment, and nutrition
• Collaborate closely with veterinarians, veterinary nurses, and animal care assistants
• Contribute to the development of routines, care quality, and the clinic's working methods
• Mentor colleagues and other staff as needed

Qualifications

• Swedish veterinary license
• At least 3 years of experience as a veterinarian with a Swedish license
• Documented experience in small animal care
• Experience in surgery and dentistry
• Good communication skills and professional demeanor
• Good knowledge of English
• Genuine commitment to animal welfare

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience mentoring colleagues or younger veterinarians
• Advanced competence in surgery, dentistry, imaging diagnostics, or internal medicine
• Interest in developing new services and working methods
• Entrepreneurial interest and willingness to contribute to the long-term development of the clinic
