About the Role
As a Pedagogical Resource, you are a practical and pedagogical support in the daily life of the education program. You work closely with the responsible teacher and participants to create structure, security, and study environment, while contributing to participants completing their education.
The role involves being present in the operations, supporting participants individually and in groups, and contributing to a professional and positive learning climate. The role is not that of a teacher, but requires a clear pedagogical approach and sense of responsibility in interactions with participants.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Support participants in their studies and daily educational life
- Contribute to structure, order, and study environment in the education
- Collaborate with teachers and other colleagues regarding participants' development
- Act as an additional adult support who notices, follows up, and acts early when participants risk falling behind
- Contribute to putting Astar's values into practice every day
The work should be characterized by professional pride, endurance, and joy in work, in line with Astar's values.
Formal Requirements
To be considered for the role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Have adequate education in Welding Technology, Product and Mechanical Engineering, Operational Safety and Maintenance, or Process Technology, or
- Have work experience in one of the above-mentioned areas for at least 1 year
