Apple Hotel in Gothenburg is looking for a new handyman/building caretaker.

Apple Hotel & Conference in Gothenburg is a family-run hotel that has established itself as one of Gothenburg's best and most cost-effective three-star hotels. The hotel has 116 rooms and several conference rooms of various sizes. For several years, we have been in a very positive development with good occupancy rates and many returning guests.

We are now reviewing the organization for the maintenance, upkeep, and development of our property and have concluded that we need to increase the competence within the building.

We are therefore looking for you who have high competence in building maintenance and good knowledge of systems such as plumbing, ventilation, and fans. You are practical, handy, and accustomed to independently performing repairs, maintenance, and some renovation work. It is important that you have the ability to look ahead and have a good eye for preventing potential problems.

You should be social, service-oriented, and have an easy time collaborating. We see it as a given that you put the guest at the center of everything.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervision and maintenance of the property and the garden with our outdoor pool.
• Maintenance of plumbing, ventilation, fan systems, and locking systems, etc.
• Repairs and troubleshooting
• Ongoing service and building maintenance
• Minor renovation work
• Ensuring that the hotel's operations always run smoothly, efficiently, and with the guest in focus.
• Ensuring we have good safety routines, that fire patrols are conducted, and that we comply with the regulatory requirements imposed on us.

We are looking for you who:

• Have extensive experience in building maintenance/handyman work
• Have good technical understanding
• Are self-motivated and responsible
• Are solution-oriented and service-minded
• Have practical experience in repair and maintenance
• Preferably have a strong commitment to the environment and sustainable development

Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, a driver's license, and your own car are required.
