Care Assistant, Evenings and Weekends

We are primarily seeking staff for evenings and weekends, but not exclusively.

Care of You is a home care provider in Jönköping. Job Responsibilities

You will perform nursing care based on the customer's wishes, needs, and approved assistance decision, according to current guidelines and legislation. Documentation, reporting, and delegated tasks from home healthcare are part of the work. Your assignment involves helping with everything the customer cannot do themselves in daily life. For us, it is important to have a good and respectful attitude, where we work together to give the customer a meaningful life.

We offer you a job where you contribute to the customer's well-being and joy of life. Working in elderly care means providing good nursing and social care to the elderly. Your work includes, among other things, practical help with personal hygiene and care, support during meals and activities, laundry, and cleaning. You also perform health and medical tasks after instruction and delegation from a nurse. We are looking for you who want a developing side job, where you get the opportunity to make a difference.

Qualifications

To work with us, you need to have relevant experience and/or education within care and social services. You enjoy working with people and put the individual in focus. To work with us, you must be at least 18 years old in accordance with the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations on the working environment for minors (AFS 2023:2, chap. 8).

As an hourly substitute with us, it is important that you take initiative and can work independently. You show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role and act based on the equal value of all people. You have an open and positive attitude as you base your actions on the customer's needs. You find it easy to work together with others and take responsibility for your and the joint tasks with the customer's best interest in focus.

To carry out the work in an efficient and safe manner with a focus on the customer's needs and wishes, it is required that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. We would like you to present grades in Swedish. The work involves documentation. As we have many customers with foreign backgrounds, it is a requirement to be able to speak Arabic. To work with us, a Category B driver's license and driving experience are required. To ensure high quality in our care and social services, we would like you, if you do not have care education, to have the necessary prior knowledge. We will prioritize candidates who have the required prior knowledge.
