The operational area includes anesthesia/operation, ICU/post-op, and the sterile technology unit within Skaraborg Hospital (SkaS), with hospital units in Lidköping, Skövde, and Falköping.

All units work closely together, both between locations and throughout SkaS. We operate as a unified entity, which means that as an employee, you may occasionally be deployed to another location within SkaS to ensure patients receive the expected care and treatment.

Our common goal is to put the patient at the center. We work process-oriented and continuously with operational development. Key traits in our operations are good teamwork skills, the ability to work under varying conditions, and a desire for development.

Description

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a specialist ward for critically ill patients requiring constant monitoring, advanced treatment, and nursing. The ward is equipped with advanced medical technology for care in various life-threatening conditions. We treat both children and adults from all hospital departments. The unit also includes beds for post-operative monitoring for both inpatients and day-case patients. The ICU-Postop operates 24/7, involving shifts during the day, evening, and night.

We are located in new, modern facilities designed to meet future needs for intensive care and post-operative care for our citizens!

Job Description

As an ICU Nurse, you will work at the peak of your competence in specialized intensive care as well as pre- and post-operative care. You will work in a team together with nursing assistants and doctors.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a Specialist Nurse with ICU competence. You have good teamwork skills and are open to development, both personally and professionally. You are accustomed to working in teams.

Personal suitability will be given great weight.
