We are looking for you who are a certified teacher in textile crafts or certified in both craft subjects, and who want to work at a school that offers:

You will be working with three teaching teams: grades 3, grades 4–6, and grades 7–9. These teams consist of skilled and dedicated personnel, including educators, student support staff, special education teachers, school counselors, and study and career guidance counselors. Together, they work to give all students good opportunities to develop towards the goals of the education. There is a very good atmosphere within the teams. We are primarily looking for someone who can work 100%. If you wish to work 80–100%, please state this clearly in your application.

You put the student at the center and are a clear leader with strong pedagogical skills. You easily build good relationships with colleagues, students, and guardians, and you value creating a good study environment and atmosphere in the classroom.

You are attentive to the needs of students and the organization, and you are interested in developing and adapting your working methods to different conditions.

You are well-versed in the goals of the national curriculum and work systematically to make teaching accessible to students.

As a person, you are positive, solution-focused, and flexible. You are a good role model for students and staff, and your values align well with those of Västbergaskolan.

The position includes teaching crafts in certain grades/classes (grades 3–9), full-time (100%), and shared mentorship together with a secondary school teacher. Together with the school's other three craft teachers, you will work to continuously develop teaching so that every student has the opportunity to develop as far as possible.

This is a permanent position. Salary according to agreement.

Start date: August 11, 2026
