Product Specialist at Sterisol!

About the role

As a Product Specialist at Sterisol, you are the expert on our range and play a central role in developing and optimizing our offering. You work closely with the market, sales, production, as well as our internal specialists in quality and formulation, with a clear focus on business, structure, and results.

You are responsible for ensuring that our assortment is competitive, profitable, and relevant based on market needs. The role involves both operational and strategic work, where you drive development in the short and long term.

An important part of the role is to lead and coordinate the assortment work, including creating decision support materials and contributing to the direction of the product portfolio together with relevant functions in the organization.

Your main responsibilities:

• Analyze and develop Sterisol's product assortment from a business perspective
• Drive product lifecycle management – from launch to phase-out
• Create decision support related to assortment, profitability, and priorities
• Identify new product opportunities based on market insights and customer needs
• Formulate product briefs and drive development projects together with internal functions
• Ensure efficient time-to-market in product development projects
• Work closely with finance regarding calculations, pricing, and margin optimization
• Coordinate and prepare materials for internal forums for assortment decisions

The role reports to the Marketing Manager and you will become part of a cross-functional environment where you play a key role in developing Sterisol's offering.

About you

We are looking for you who have a few years of experience and want to continue developing within product, business, and marketing. You have a background in, for example, economics, product management, or similar, and thrive in a role where you get to combine analysis with collaboration.

You are communicative and confident in expressing yourself, while also being receptive and able to understand different perspectives. You are proactive and self-driven, with a natural ability to take initiative and move the work forward. You dare to argue for your ideas and are direct and clear in your communication, while building trust within the organization.

Furthermore, you are analytical and have a technical interest that helps you understand both products and processes. You work with a long-term perspective, are persistent in your approach, and thrive in a role where results are built over time.

We believe that you:

• Have relevant education in economics, marketing, technology, or similar
• Have experience working with product, business support, or similar
• Are curious and want to understand both the product and the market
• Have good collaboration skills and thrive in a role with many contact surfaces
