We are now looking for an engaged and driven HMS Coordinator who wants to be involved from the start and build up occupational health, safety, and environment (HSE) work for one of our clients.

This is not a role where everything is already finished. We are looking for you who enjoy creating structure, establishing routines, and being close to operations in daily work. You will have great opportunities to influence and lay the foundation for our safety culture moving forward.

About the role

As an HMS Coordinator, you work both operationally and administratively with occupational health, safety, and routines within the business.

You will, among other things:

• create and develop routines, checklists, and induction materials
• work with risk assessments and safety rounds
• follow up on near-misses and incidents
• help build a strong safety culture within the operations
• ensure order regarding first aid, protective equipment, and safety materials
• support managers and staff with occupational health and safety issues
• participate in developing our systematic occupational health and safety work

We are looking for you who

• are structured, self-starting, and solution-oriented
• enjoy building up and improving working methods
• have a strong safety mindset and good communication skills
• thrive when collaborating with both management and staff
• dare to take initiative and drive issues forward

We would like you to have:

• experience from industry, production, recycling, warehousing, or similar operations
• experience in occupational health and safety or security work
• good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• education within occupational health/HMS/HSE
• experience with systematic occupational health and safety work
• experience with ISO or improvement work
