About the Role

We are now expanding our rehabilitation team with an Occupational Therapist. Your area of responsibility relates to all the daily activities people perform, as well as activities that are difficult to carry out for various reasons. As an Occupational Therapist at the health center, you will work with standard outpatient tasks such as hand rehabilitation, pain and stress management, activity assessments, dementia investigations, treatment of ADHD-like symptoms, and rehabilitation coordination. The exact areas of responsibility will be discussed based on individual prerequisites.

The tasks require you to take initiative and plan and carry out your work independently. At the same time, you need to collaborate well with your colleagues and have a good attitude towards everyone you meet in your role. You also need to be flexible to easily adapt to changed circumstances.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with start date by agreement. Degree of employment can be discussed.

Your Future Workplace

Smålandsstenar Health Center is part of primary care in Region Jönköping County and belongs to the Bra Liv health centers, which are owned and operated by the region. The health center's rehabilitation activities are located at the main clinic in Smålandsstenar. We have a branch in the community of Reftele, about one mile from Smålandsstenar. Together we have approximately 10,500 registered patients and about 40 employees. Our core values are care, holistic approach, and quality, and we provide full-scale primary care in the countryside with high trust in our population. We are located on the outskirts of Småland, in beautiful nature - yet no more than a little over an hour from Gothenburg, Halmstad, and Jönköping.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a licensed Occupational Therapist and want a varied job!

If you have experience from primary care and/or basic training in hand rehabilitation, this is something we value as meritorious for the position. We also see it as meritorious if you have REDO training, training in pain/stress management, or Ha Koll (LGO-S).

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
