As a service technician for our client in Vallentuna, you will become an integral part of the workshop, responsible for the diagnostics, repair, and servicing of all car brands. You will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure vehicles are delivered on time and with high quality, while contributing to a safe and efficient workflow.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on vehicles of various brands according to manufacturer instructions
• Carry out service and maintenance work, including component replacement, brake work, wheel alignment, and electronics repairs
• Document completed work in the workshop system and report status to service management
• Collaborate with service advisors to ensure correct work orders, time estimates, and spare parts orders
• Participate in quality controls and contribute to improvement work regarding workshop flows and working methods
• Ensure order, safety, and correct handling of tools and equipment

Qualifications and who we are looking for

• At least 2 years of experience as a service technician or similar work in the automotive industry, preferably with experience across multiple car brands
• Good experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics; familiarity with modern diagnostic tools is a plus
• Technical education in vehicles or equivalent practical experience is a plus
• Structured, precise, and quality-conscious with the ability to work at a high pace
• Good communication and teamwork skills; service-oriented towards both colleagues and customers
• Category B driver's license is required
• Good proficiency in Swedish (spoken and written); English is a plus
