The Role of ST Doctor

Bra Liv Vråen is growing, and therefore we are looking for another ST (Specialist Training) doctor in general medicine. The position is a permanent full-time (100%) employment, but the degree of employment is open to discussion based on preferences. Start date according to agreement. You are also welcome to apply even if you have not yet completed your AT (Internship) service.

As an ST doctor at Bra Liv Vråen Health Centre, you will work together with other dedicated ST doctors and experienced specialists in general medicine. All doctors at the health centre are passionate about helping new colleagues, which means you will be well taken care of.

The work at the health centre is varied, involving scheduled and acute patient visits. Over time, work with child health care, in special housing facilities, and night shifts at the Urgent Care Centre will also be included.

Continuity is important to us, so you will primarily see your own patients. We continuously work on developing our teams and strengthening cooperation between different professions.

For those who will do basic training (BT) at the beginning of their ST, a fixed-term employment may be relevant with the aim of transitioning to a permanent position. Bra Liv Vråen Health Centre has approximately 12,400 registered residents, and we are part of the Bra Liv Health Centres. We have close cooperation with Rydaholm Health Centre.

Värnamo is a beautiful and pleasant town where the Lagan river flows slowly by. The town offers most of what you could wish for in a small town, such as restaurants, shops, culture, and sports facilities. There are approximately 22,500 residents in the central town and approximately 34,600 in the municipality.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a Swedish medical license and good knowledge of the Swedish language (at least C1 level).
• Can work independently but also together with other professions.
• Is engaged and responsible and understands the importance of good treatment.
• Is flexible and wants to develop and improve operations together with us.
• Absorbs new knowledge and can serve as a resource for your colleagues.
• Can adapt your work, treatment, and attitude based on the patient and situation.
• Wants to contribute to creating participation and a good work environment through good cooperation with management and colleagues.

Having a B driver's license is an advantage, but not a requirement.

As an ST doctor, your ST planning takes place in collaboration between you, supervisor, operations manager, and study director. At our centre, you receive continuous supervision from experienced colleagues. The ST doctors in the healthcare area meet regularly with the study director. We are very proud of our ST program.

Cooperation with Futurum, Region Jönköping County's research and education unit, and Qulturum, the Region's unit for operational development and improvements, also makes it possible to develop within research or towards a future leadership role.
