A family in Djursholm with two children, a 3-year-old girl and a 1-year-old boy, is looking for a nanny who can create fun and educational days for their children. The mother speaks English but understands Swedish, and the father speaks Swedish. Neither child attends preschool at the moment, and they have no plans for them to start until at least autumn 2027. They are looking for someone who sees the children as the curious individuals they are and can create stimulating and developmental activities adapted to their age. The nanny should have a strong interest in children's learning and development in the early years and be able to create meaningful and interesting activities that stimulate the children.

We are looking for a nanny who does not see the toddler years as a waiting period, but rather as a time when children want and can learn a lot, even if they are small. The family is family-oriented and puts the children's best interests first. The most important thing for the family is a nanny who is warm, caring, secure, responsible, and genuinely enjoys being with children. Both parents work from home some days a week, but from a different floor. This is a role where the nanny has sole responsibility for the children during the day and is expected to create educational, exciting, and developmental activities for them. It does not need to be large or complex activities; it is about seeing the opportunities for play and learning in small everyday situations, in a safe and calm home environment.

The eldest daughter loves being outdoors, discovering animals and nature, which there are great opportunities to do in the local area where they live. They describe her as curious and with a fairly calm temperament at the moment. The youngest boy is currently a very content baby who is rarely sad and is happy to join in. Simple cooking is included, and sometimes there will be food to heat up for the children. The nanny's focus is on the children and not other chores, but one is expected to tidy up after the children and their daily activities.

The family can be somewhat flexible regarding the scope of the service depending on what the nanny desires, and can offer a shorter day per week, but generally, they desire 5 days per week, approx. 08:30–17:00. The service starts as soon as possible but no later than August 2026. The service begins as soon as we have found the right person.

The position offers a fixed monthly salary. Nordic Light Nannies recruits only for the position; the family employs directly and becomes the employer.

Interviews take place continuously during the application period, and the position is filled as soon as we have found the right candidate.

Salaries are determined individually depending on experience and education and are comparable to preschool teacher salaries in Stockholm. Minimum wage 150 SEK/hour. We can offer a higher wage up to 210 SEK/hour for nannies with extensive experience and/or pedagogical education. Fixed monthly salaries occur within certain positions.

• At least three years of experience in professional work with children (certificate/documentation and references required) or equivalent competence?
