About the Workplace

Forellplan Care and Residential Home is located in the Sätra district. Forellplan consists of two five-story buildings connected by a loft walkway. There are a total of 124 apartments, 60 of which are for people with dementia care, while the remaining apartments provide somatic nursing care.

Job Responsibilities

Are you a nurse with a big heart, where empathy, care, and consideration are your defining traits? Then we have the job for you! We are now looking for dedicated and cooperative nurses for Forellplan Care and Residential Home, where you can make a difference every day in our patients' lives.

As a nurse at Forellplan Care and Residential Home, you will work with standard nursing duties alongside five other nurses and one nursing assistant. You will work together in a team with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and other care staff. Together, you will work to promote the patient's health and well-being. You are responsible for medical assessments, careful documentation, and registration in relevant quality registers. Patient rounds take place at a listed health center with the responsible doctor. HSL documentation is done in Treserva, planning in TES. Lifecare is used for communication between care providers.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Being the primary care responsible nurse for a number of patients at the facility.
• Performing medical assessments.
• Planning, executing, and following up on care interventions.
• Sample collection, infusions, wound care, and end-of-life care.
• Working in a team with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and doctors.
• Mentoring and delegating care tasks to staff and students.

The position is primarily daytime work, but the schedule includes evening and weekend shifts. You will then work in our consultancy service, which includes the municipality's care and residential homes, home healthcare, and service and group housing within LSS (Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities) and social psychiatry.

Qualifications

You are a skilled nurse who wants to work in a care and residential home, providing good care, quality of life, security, and warmth to patients who need it most. We are looking for you who:

• Are a licensed nurse.
• Have experience working in elderly care or similar healthcare settings.
• Have a B driver's license and driving experience.
• Have a good ability to make independent medical assessments.
• Are confident in handling medications.
• Are familiar with documentation in digital medical record systems, preferably Treserva.

To succeed in the role of a nurse, you are:
