Barona is now recruiting, on behalf of our client, an engaged and proactive Operations Technician in Gothenburg.
The client is ISS Facility Services, which has an exciting collaboration with a customer in the automotive industry with multiple sites in Sweden.

About the role
In the role of Operations Technician, you will be responsible for supervision, maintenance, and corrective maintenance of the client's facilities.
Examples of the main tasks included in your role:
- Supervision and maintenance of technical operating systems and buildings.
- Primary corrective maintenance (troubleshooting and repair).
- Long-term planned maintenance in buildings.
- Handling computerized control systems.
- Work with operation, development, and optimization of building systems.
- Ongoing work with improvements and some documentation.
- Perform and be responsible for various customer projects.
- Perform contract-based work beyond the agreement.
- Be an active initiator in the daily work of improving and developing our delivery, both internally and towards the customer.
Who are you?
We are looking for you with broad knowledge in building operations technology – knowledge in ventilation and building automation is highly meritorious. You are a driven person who wants to take on an important role in an organization with a strong forward-looking spirit. You have the competence needed to solve varying tasks within building operations, but you also bring humility and creativity, enabling you to find ways forward even when your own competence doesn't cover everything.
You seek improvement opportunities and engage in dialogue about these with relevant parties. You see the benefit of working in a planned and structured manner, where you have the ability to work proactively instead of reactively.
You are service-oriented and have a positive character. You are also skilled at communicating with different people, understanding the importance of good dialogue regarding ongoing work. For you, it is natural to follow up with relevant parties. You enjoy developing and further developing your technical competence. You are happy to share experiences and knowledge with your colleagues.
With humility and sensitivity, you also win the respect of the customer and your colleagues.
You are part of a group with different professional categories within building maintenance; therefore, we see that you are accustomed to working independently within your specialty, but you also enjoy collaborating in teams and projects.
Your background
We are looking for you who have education and/or experience working within building operations. You speak and write Swedish fluently and have basic IT skills – e.g., Microsoft Office, internet, and case management systems. A B-class driver's license is required.
