SiS LVM-hem Renforsen in Vindeln receives men with alcohol, drug, or polydrug addiction. The institution is tasked with providing care for clients with special resource needs.

Job Description:

Do you want to contribute to life-changing change? Then the role of Nurse at SiS LVM-hem Renforsen is a meaningful challenge for you. As a nurse here, your skills are in high demand and crucial. You will be part of our healthcare organization, which consists of nurses, psychologists, and doctors.

Here, you will have the opportunity to contribute to high-quality care and treatment at both individual and group levels through direct contact with clients and by educating and guiding treatment staff on health and medical matters. Additionally, you will assess the physical and mental health of our clients based on your professional role. Your responsibilities include:

• Medication management
• Preparing for and participating in rounds with doctors
• Contributing to treatment planning and working in interdisciplinary teams
• Collaborating with external actors
• Documentation
• Coordinating care interventions
• Health conversations
• Consultation and counseling for our clients

Qualifications:

You are a licensed nurse. Experience from psychiatric care and/or addiction treatment is considered an asset.

You have strong skills in prioritizing tasks, working independently and structurally, and adapting to different situations. You work in close collaboration with other professions at the institution, such as management and treatment staff, which requires good teamwork skills and an understanding of the conditions of different professions.

The position is varied and requires initiative. You have good opportunities to influence your own work and the well-being of our clients.

You must have good verbal and written communication skills in Swedish. You are a colleague who shares knowledge, contributes to development, and fosters a sense of "we" at SiS.

The work places high demands on personal suitability, especially regarding interpersonal skills and treatment approach.

You must also hold a valid driver's license (Category B).

Employment:

The role of Nurse follows office hours. The position is a permanent full-time employment, starting with a six-month probationary period, with a start date to be agreed upon.
