Kalmarhem is looking for you if you want a varied and stimulating summer job. As a building host (bovärd), you are our face to the outside world and meet our tenants in their daily lives. You work with practical tasks and perform repairs in and around Kalmarhem's properties, as well as in our tenants' homes.

Job Responsibilities

Your workday will vary and consist of different types of maintenance work in our properties and with our tenants. The role includes, among other things:

• Performing minor repairs and maintenance (e.g., changing light bulbs, fixing doors, mounting equipment)
• Daily supervision of premises and properties
• Handling fault reports and providing service to tenants
• Ordering materials and contacting contractors
• Checking technical systems (lighting, ventilation, heating - at a basic level)

Your Profile

This position suits you if you enjoy physical and varied work and are good at following instructions. You work in a structured manner and plan your day independently. You are confident in handling minor repairs and maintenance and meet our tenants with service and professionalism. We are looking for someone who is responsible, social, and has high integrity. Previous experience in property management is an advantage.

A category B driver's license is required.

The employment is a fixed-term contract (vicarious position) with full-time hours. The employment is expected to run during the summer period from June to August; if you can start earlier, that is a plus. You will be compensated with salary and terms according to the collective agreement.
