Your new role

We are now looking for an Events Marketing Specialist for an internationally leading company within financial infrastructure – a role where strategy, creativity, and execution meet in a fast-paced environment.

As an Events Marketing Specialist, you will be the hub for planning and executing a wide range of sponsored and proprietary events in the Nordics – everything from webinars and seminars to larger conferences, trade shows, and exclusive customer events.

You are responsible for creating holistic experiences that strengthen the brand, drive engagement, and generate concrete business results. The role combines strategic thinking with operational execution and data-driven follow-up.

You will become part of a European marketing team and work closely with both internal experts and external partners in an international and dynamic environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Planning, coordinating, and executing sponsored and proprietary events in the Nordics (webinars, seminars, conferences, trade shows, and customer events).
• Driving integrated event campaigns in digital channels such as email, social media, web, and digital advertising.
• Managing project plans, budgets, timelines, and deliverables – with a focus on quality, speed, and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitoring and analyzing event KPIs and ROI using CRM and analytics tools, and turning insights into improvement suggestions.
• Collaborating closely with sales, product, content, and communications regarding positioning, messaging, and target audience-specific content.
• Managing external collaborations with organizers, partners, speakers, venues, and media.
• Ensuring that all event communications follow brand guidelines and internal processes.
• Driving continuous development of event processes, tools, and campaign results.

To be successful in this role, you need:

• An academic degree in marketing, business administration, project management, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in event marketing, preferably from finance, tech, or another complex matrix organization.
• Documented experience in planning and executing successful events with achieved or exceeded KPIs.
• Very strong project management skills and experience handling multiple parallel initiatives.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and event platforms (experience with Salesforce, Monday.com, and Bizzabo is a plus).
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Advantageous: Understanding of financial terms.
