As a Designer/Constructor at Axentia, you are part of our Development Department. In addition to natural close collaboration with the Electronics Department, you will have clear interfaces where you interact with Sales, Production, Support, and Procurement in various types of projects and discussions. Therefore, it is important that you thrive in this networking and communicative role, where the ability to take initiative and feel responsible for completing a product is central.

Your responsibilities primarily include:

• Design and construction work where you are involved in the entire process from concept sketch to delivery.
  • CAD using SolidWorks (the sheet metal module is used extensively).
  • Common manufacturing methods include welded thin-sheet metal structures, injection-molded plastic parts, and to some extent 3D printing.
• Creation of manufacturing documentation through 2D drawings for our subcontractors.
• Simple graphic design in Adobe Illustrator for creating prints on our products.
• Providing technical support to our sales team through product knowledge and creating persuasive documentation for bids in public tenders. This is done, for example, through product renderings which we currently create in Luxion Keyshot.
• Creating items and processing complete products in our business system Monitor ERP.

• Has a relevant university degree in Mechanical Engineering/Product Development, or equivalent knowledge gained through work experience.
• Is fluent in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

In addition, we prefer that you have worked for a few years in a similar role involving mechanical design or product development. You have a strong ability to take initiative and an understanding of the steps required to achieve the desired result. Being humble and allowing yourself to turn to others when needed is also significant – we love helping each other and working together to create the best products possible!

It is considered an asset if you have previous knowledge of one or more of the programs we use, such as SolidWorks, Adobe Illustrator, Luxion Keyshot, and Monitor ERP or similar business systems. If you additionally have experience or interest in strength calculations, thermodynamics, or mechatronics, this is also highly valuable.
