Do you want to work with tomorrow's advanced driver assistance systems and contribute to safer vehicles? We are now looking for a SIL Engineer who wants to develop and improve test and verification flows for ADAS functions in a high-tech and agile environment.
In this role, you will work with both practical testing and strategic improvement work within test automation, quality assurance, and CI/CD.
About the role
As a SIL Engineer, you will become an important part of the team responsible for the validation and verification of advanced driver assistance systems such as collision avoidance, driver alert, and connected safety.
You will work on developing test methods, automating verification flows, and ensuring high quality in complex embedded systems. The role involves working in both SIL and HIL environments with a strong focus on automation and efficiency.
You will collaborate closely with development teams, test leaders, and system owners in a modern and fast-changing development environment. Your tasks will include, among other things:
- Create and further develop test methods based on system requirements
- Design test scenarios and define expected test results
- Perform troubleshooting and fault analysis in SIL and HIL environments
- Automate test cases and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines
- Be responsible for and further develop regression test suites
- Perform manual testing in various test environments as needed
- Measure, analyze, and monitor test coverage and quality
- Provide feedback on requirements and improvement opportunities
To succeed in the role, we would like you to have experience with several of the following tools:
- Python and data analysis (e.g., Pandas)
- Test automation frameworks and CI/CD flows
- SIL/HIL test environments
- Open Scenario / Open Drive
- Tools for analysis and troubleshooting of embedded systems
We are looking for someone who
- Has at least 2 years of experience in testing, verification, or development within embedded systems
- Has worked with SIL (Software-in-the-loop), HIL is a plus
- Is familiar with test automation and scripting in Python
- Has good analytical skills and experience in troubleshooting
- Thrives in agile teams with a high pace and close collaboration
Desirable experience
- Experience with ADAS/AD functions
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and regression testing
- Ability to quickly get up to speed in new environments and contribute from day one
This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by us at Friday with the goal of eventually being hired directly by the client.
