Apper Systems is now looking for a Senior EDI Developer who wants to take a key role in developing solutions that ensure important business information flows correctly between companies worldwide. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

Apper Systems helps companies within logistics, retail, and manufacturing create stable and efficient information flows between business systems, warehouses, transport partners, customers, and suppliers. The platform acts as a central hub where large amounts of information are handled between ERP systems, WMS systems, transport solutions, and external parties. When the systems work, you hardly notice them – but when they don't, the consequences can quickly become significant in the form of delivery delays, warehouse errors, and disruptions in critical business flows.

In this role, you work through the entire integration lifecycle – from analysis and design to development, testing, release, production deployment, and further development. The solutions are built on Apper's platform and standardized frameworks, but are adapted based on each customer's business flows, processes, and technical environments.

You work closely with customers, internal teams, and external partners, where you need to understand how information flows impact, for example, warehouse management, transport bookings, customs handling, order flows, and manufacturing processes.

As a senior developer, you are expected to take natural technical responsibility within the team and contribute to technical choices, architecture, and solution discussions regarding how future integration solutions should be built. You become a key person in driving technical issues forward and supporting the team in complex integration challenges.

Examples of responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and further develop EDI and integration solutions

• Analyze business processes and information flows within logistics and supply chain

• Build integrations between ERP, WMS, and TMS systems as well as external partners

• Work with release management and production deployments

• Troubleshoot, quality assure, and optimize integration flows in operation

• Contribute to technical improvement initiatives and solution discussions

You work in a technical environment where .NET/C#, EDI standards such as EDIFACT, ANSI X12, and XML, as well as communication protocols such as AS2, SFTP, and HTTP(S), are central.

WHO ARE YOU?

We are looking for you who have several years of experience with EDI and integration and feel comfortable in complex environments where many systems, parties, and information flows need to function together. You have a strong technical foundation in .NET/C# as well as experience with established EDI standards and communication protocols. You are also familiar with release processes and production deployments where quality and stability are crucial. You preferably also have experience with DevOps working methods and see opportunities in using modern AI support like Copilot to streamline development work.

To succeed in the role, we believe you have an understanding of the business flows that the integrations support. You understand, for example, how orders, deliveries, transports, invoices, and other central business processes are connected – and how the exchange of information between these affects the customer's operations.

You are used to working independently and taking responsibility in complex situations where there are not always ready-made answers. At the same time, you are communicative and thrive in dialogue with both technical teams, customers, and business stakeholders.
