Svensk Fastighetsförmedling is now looking for a Business Intelligence Developer for our headquarters in central Stockholm. Here, you will jump straight into an exciting journey towards becoming even more data-driven and forward-looking. Over the past few years, we have built an in-house Power BI platform that is highly automated. Today, both management and more than 250 leaders across the country use the new tool to monitor and develop the business. We see the difference it makes to have access to the right statistics and relevant key figures, and therefore we want to further develop our BI infrastructure.

We are looking for you who enjoy taking ownership of an existing, well-functioning platform, developing it further, and helping us take the next step.

About the role

In this role, you work closely with Insights & Analytics and the business to create clear, reliable, and user-friendly BI solutions. You report to the Insights & Analytics Manager and are responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and development of our BI solutions. The role is central to freeing up capacity in the Insight team – so that we can move from delivering data to delivering recommendations and insights that drive actual decisions. You will become a key person in making data understandable, usable, and accessible to the entire organization.

Technical tasks and responsibilities

  • Build and further develop data models (semantic models).
  • Develop dashboards in Power BI.
  • Ensure data quality, KPI logic, and consistent monitoring.
  • Work with DAX, Power Query/M, calculation groups, and field parameters.
  • Work in Microsoft Fabric (Dataflows Gen2, simpler pipelines, models).
  • Manage refresh schedules, error monitoring, and stability.
  • Understand data lines from BigQuery and other sources (e.g., GA4, KVS).
  • Participate in the development of simpler ETL flows in Fabric (no requirement for full data engineering expertise).
  • Document models, dashboard logic, and data sources.
  • Follow common working methods within BI and Insights.

Collaboration and working methods

  • Collaborate with Insights & Analytics and other internal stakeholders.
  • Translate business needs into clear BI solutions.
  • Support the organization with visualization and understanding of KPIs and insights.
  • Contribute to methodology, quality assurance, and development of BI processes.

Requirements

  • At least 2–3 years of experience with Power BI as the primary work tool.
  • Very strong competence in Power BI (modeling, DAX, M).
  • Experience with Power BI Service and workspace management.
  • Understanding of data modeling in modern BI architecture (star schema, dimensions).
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric (Dataflows Gen2, simpler pipelines).
  • Experience with SQL.
  • Very high ability to collaborate and translate business needs into BI solutions.
  • Pedagogical and confident in dialogue with different parts of the organization.
  • Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, with good knowledge of English.

We consider it meritorious if you also have:

  • Experience with BigQuery, APIs (integration and data handling).
  • Experience with GA4/GTM data or web analytics.
  • Experience with simpler ETL using Fabric Data Factory.
  • Experience with Git/DevOps.
  • Experience with Python.
  • Interest in predictive models.

We are looking for someone who is structured, meticulous, and enjoys collaborating with others. You are self-motivated, solution-oriented, and thrive in a role where you get to take responsibility and drive the work forward.

To thrive, we see it as crucial that you are confident working closely with non-technical teams and have a pedagogical and curious approach. You are curious, receptive, and enjoy creating understanding together with others.
