With an upcoming activity requirement and an expanded mandate, Eksjö Municipality is embarking on an exciting journey of development. The activity requirement aims to ensure that every participant takes active steps towards work or studies based on their prerequisites, through increased participation, structure, and personal responsibility. Alongside this requirement, the target group is expanding, creating a need for additional services.

The position combines two important roles:

• Occupational Therapist within the Employment Unit (AME)
• Collaboration Coordinator for the Eksjö Municipal Area

AME is part of the social sector. The primary goal of AME is to help residents of Eksjö Municipality find work and support themselves. Our role is to support individuals in achieving self-sufficiency through labor market measures and work-life rehabilitation interventions that bring individuals closer to employment or studies. We are an interdisciplinary team consisting of labor market consultants, occupational therapists, SE-coaches, youth pedagogues, supervisors, and an administrator.

The Collaboration Mission is organized via the Högland Coordination Consortium, which consists of the Högland municipalities and the three rehabilitation actors: the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen), the Swedish Social Insurance Agency (Försäkringskassan), and the Region. The mission is organized using steering and working groups in each municipal area. Representatives from the Coordination Consortium are present in both groups. The Collaboration Coordinators chair the steering and working groups in their respective municipal areas and are part of a network with other collaboration coordinators in Högland.

Job Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapist at AME, you work on behalf of Economic Assistance and/or the Swedish Public Employment Service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting activity assessments
• Interventions at the individual and group levels.
• In collaboration with other employees within AME, responsible for other labor market interventions on a smaller scale.

As a Collaboration Coordinator, you work strategically to strengthen collaboration between the four rehabilitation actors: the Swedish Public Employment Service, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, the Region, and Eksjö Municipality.

Key responsibilities include:

• Environmental scanning
• Identifying and developing areas for collaboration
• Disseminating knowledge about the missions of the rehabilitation actors
• Contributing to development work within Collaboration Högland
• Supporting collaboration based on the prerequisites of the Eksjö municipal area

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist and have work experience. Experience within the labor market area is meritorious. Experience in work-oriented rehabilitation is also meritorious. Other experience from primary care, psychiatry, the Swedish Public Employment Service, and/or the Swedish Social Insurance Agency is considered an advantage. Experience in collaboration with various actors is also meritorious.

You should be structured, responsible, and flexible. You must have the ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing. In this role, it is crucial that you have strong collaboration skills and a positive approach towards participants and other professions. You have a solution-focused attitude, a strong interest in the field, see opportunities, and contribute to the development of our operations.

A valid driver's license (Category B) is required.
