About the role

As a Signal Foreman, you will become a central part of an engaged team driving exciting and challenging railway projects. You will lead signaling work from planning through to execution and follow-up, collaborating closely with the Site Manager to ensure projects are carried out according to the company's processes and methods.

You are responsible for personnel and the work environment, creating engagement and motivation within your team. The role also offers the opportunity to participate in the bidding process and subsequently lead the projects you have helped calculate. If needed, you will also provide technical support in the field.

• Your role includes, among other things:
• Planning and taking responsibility for daily production
• Ongoing customer contact and economic responsibility for your part of the production
• Personnel responsibility for the technicians in the team
• Motivating and guiding the team in the execution of the work
• Ensuring work is performed in accordance with current requirements and obligations
• Working with job preparation, including risk assessments, resource planning, booking of internal resources and machinery, and ordering external services.
• Handling deviations, implementing corrective actions, and proposing improvement measures

Travel is a natural part of the role, and on-call duties may occur. You will mostly work from home but travel to projects across Sweden, reporting to the Technical Project Manager.

Are you the right person?

To succeed in this role, we are looking for you who have experience as a signaling technician. You should also demonstrate experience in leading groups (without direct personnel responsibility), good computer literacy, and financial awareness. Experience with costing is a merit.
