Emergency Dental Clinic/FTV Campus is hiring

The Emergency Dental Clinic/FTV Campus is currently looking for more staff, and this time we are seeking a Dental Nurse. Here, you will find a challenge if you have experience and are confident in your professional role.

As a Dental Nurse at the Emergency Dental Clinic, you will play a vital role and be appreciated, as the clinic improves access to dental care for patients with acute conditions.

The Emergency Dental Clinic is located next to the Public Dental Service Campus and is staffed mainly by permanent employees during the week. During weekends, staff from across the entire operation work here.

At FTV Campus, all treatments offered by general dentistry are available for all ages. In our modern clinic, a wonderful team of 20 people works together. The workplace has 14 treatment rooms and is characterized by a good work environment, with a team that has great camaraderie and a positive work climate. The clinic is centrally located in Östersund in the old A4 area in listed historic premises.

Job Responsibilities

In the role of Dental Nurse at the Emergency Dental Clinic, you will have a varied and responsible job where you play a central role in both the treatment and patient flow.

You will perform all common dental nurse tasks at a general dental clinic, such as assisting dentists, handling patient care and sterile work, as well as administrative tasks.

The role involves working with children, adolescents, and adults. The work requires you to be engaged, independent, and flexible, while also requiring good collaboration with the rest of the team.

Qualifications and Merits

• Completed and approved Dental Nurse education.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Other language skills are meritorious.
• Good ability to organize work efficiently.
• Professional and confident in your practice.
• Take initiative and have excellent collaboration skills.
• Meritorious: Experience with T4 (advanced dental nursing).
• Preferably a few years of experience as a Dental Nurse. If you are new, you will receive guidance from experienced colleagues.
• Flexible – you adapt easily to changing circumstances and see opportunities in change.
• Desire to contribute to a long-term and positive workplace.
