We are now looking for two occupational therapists in specialist care in Gästrikland

We are a dynamic team of 26 occupational therapists and four rehabilitation assistants working together to facilitate and improve the daily lives of our patients. We work with all hospital wards as well as several clinics, such as the hand clinic, lymph clinic, and pediatric clinic. We are proud of our high standards and our focus on patient well-being. Job Responsibilities

Depending on your experience and competence, you will play a key role in outpatient care, inpatient care, or both. We support each other in our daily work, and you will receive good supervision from experienced colleagues as well as good opportunities for professional development. If you are new to the profession or have less experience, there is an opportunity to try out different areas initially to broaden your knowledge.

As an occupational therapist with us, you will among other things work with:

• Assessment, treatment, and training of activity capacity and function.
• Fitting and prescription of assistive devices.
• Education and counseling for healthcare staff.
• Collaboration with the various units/departments we cooperate with.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have good cooperation skills and are sensitive to the needs and perspectives of others, which contributes to constructive dialogue and a positive work climate. You plan and structure your work efficiently, ensuring deadlines are met and tasks are performed with quality and precision. You also handle unexpected situations with calm and creativity, seeing changes as an opportunity for development rather than an obstacle. Furthermore, you see what needs to be done, and through your engagement and forward-thinking attitude, you help the business develop and create results.

To provide equal care across the entire county, it is also positive if you are flexible and, in exceptional cases, are willing to travel for work. This also provides a chance to build strong relationships, exchange knowledge, and make a real difference in people's daily lives.

In the role of occupational therapist, you must:

• Be a licensed occupational therapist.

For this position, it is meritorious if you have experience working within stroke rehabilitation, orthopedics, or medical lymph therapy, but this is not a requirement. As a recent graduate or with less experience, there is a large collective competence at the unit to learn from.
