Join Our Team: Textile (Slöjd) Teacher (50%)
Location: Dibber International School, Norrviken, Sollentuna
Start: August 2026
At Dibber International School, we are an IB World School committed to laying the foundation for lifelong learning, helping students develop both academically and personally. Located just steps from the beautiful Norrviken Lake and close to Stockholm’s commuter train, our F–9 school follows the Swedish Lgr22 curriculum whilst using the International Baccalaureate’s pedagogical program, giving our students an international profile and preparing them to be world citizens.
We are now looking for a passionate Textile (Slöjd) Teacher to join our inspiring team!
About the Role:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Textile (Slöjd) lessons for students in Grades 3–9.
- Ensure that the teaching follows the Swedish national curriculum and meets high-quality educational standards.
- Create a learning environment where creativity, craftsmanship, and practical skills are nurtured.
- Integrate modern technology and sustainable thinking into your teaching practice.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive and supportive school culture.
- Participate in professional development and align teaching with IB methodologies where appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Teaching license (lärarlegitimation) with certification to teach Textile (Slöjd).
- Experience in planning and delivering Textile (Slöjd) lessons in a school setting.
- Ability to use digital tools to enhance student learning.
- Strong English communication skills; Swedish language skills are an advantage.
