Are you interested in a civilian position in the Swedish Armed Forces? Do you want to help build Sweden's crisis and war preparedness? We have a place for you – The Flight Technical Unit is recruiting a Material Planner.

As a Material Planner and Technical Accountant, you work with monitoring the material flow of GSE (Ground Support Equipment). GSE can be individual tools or complete sets requiring calibration, various devices needing maintenance, measuring tools, and other equipment required for aircraft maintenance. You are a vital part of the development and maintenance of the squadron's and garrison's capabilities.

Flight Technical Unit 24. Flight Systems Section (FSS)

The Flight Systems Section (FSS) is responsible for the Management of Continuing Airworthiness (MCAO), which corresponds to the civilian Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO). The FSS is also responsible for the corresponding regulations regarding airbase material and flight safety material. The Flight Systems Section includes systems engineers, planning engineers, material planners, and technical accounting clerks. The section is part of the air operator's technical organization, functionally led by the central technical manager. You will support all the section's areas of responsibility over time, as well as the overall mission of the helicopter squadron.

Main Responsibilities

  • Plan, drive, and monitor the material process within aviation material.
  • Keep current material data in the flight system's operational data system up to date.

It is also important that you can easily understand and adhere to regulations, as the management of flight stores is highly regulated.

Merits

  • Experience with GSE (Ground Support Equipment).
  • Experience and knowledge of aviation material or maintenance planning.
  • Experience with operational monitoring systems, e.g., Fenix or SAP.
  • Good ability to document and report in writing.
