Do you want to work close to operations and help develop how production, processes, and working methods function in practice? PreZero is now looking for a Drift Support (Operations Support) with a focus on development who wants to take a central role where you will have significant responsibility, varied workdays, and the opportunity to make a real impact!
About the Role
This position is a direct hire, meaning the recruitment process is handled through Bravura, and you will be employed directly by PreZero.
About the Company
PreZero is a sustainable partner in recycling and waste management, regardless of the type of residual material or business. Together with their customers, they contribute to the circular economy and a more sustainable future. PreZero offers efficient waste and recycling solutions focused on customer needs and long-term sustainability. They collect and handle residual materials from customers' operations through recycling and/or energy recovery. In their daily work, customer benefit equals environmental benefit.
In Sweden, they operate at approximately 60 locations, have over 1,100 employees, more than 50 recycling and receiving facilities, and manage waste handling for around 40 Swedish municipalities. Their operations create value not only for the customers receiving recycling services but also for the manufacturing industry and the energy sector by refining waste into valuable secondary raw materials for new production. For PreZero, it is important to utilize all competencies in the labor market. They welcome all applicants and strive for diversity.
Responsibilities
In the role of Drift Support, you work closely with operations managers, transport managers, administrators, and leadership, acting as a coordinating link between different functions. You have a varied daily routine where you combine analysis, reporting, and the creation of decision support materials with being out in the operations to understand flows, identify areas for improvement, and support daily work. You will have a daily routine where you work operationally within the business while simultaneously driving improvements and development initiatives forward.
Initially, there is a strong focus on creating structure, mapping existing processes, and supporting administration in developing working methods. You actively work on improving how things are done today, while gradually taking a more operational role in the operations and supporting operations managers in areas such as follow-up, reporting, and QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) work. An important part of the role is also contributing to the implementation of LEAN working methods, where you drive improvement initiatives, map flows, and identify bottlenecks. You are also responsible for creating investment proposals, analyses, and forecasts, as well as following up on key performance indicators related to, among other things, transport and fuel. You belong to the container/industry department and have the option to base yourself from one of the offices in Högdalen, Solna, or Sollentuna.
- Create investment proposals, analyses, and decision support
- Map processes, routines, and working methods, and identify areas for improvement
- Support operations managers in daily work, including QHSE-related questions
- Work with reporting, follow-up, and analysis of e.g., fuel, transport, and deliveries
- Participate in and eventually drive work related to LEAN and efficiency
- Be out in operations to understand flows, identify bottlenecks, and improve working methods
Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in areas such as industrial economics, production, logistics, or similar, or equivalent work experience from an operationally close role within production, operations, industry, or logistics, e.g., as a production manager, operations coordinator, administrator, foreman, or project engineer
- Experience from production, industry, or operationally close work
- Good knowledge of the Office package
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with LEAN or improvement work
- Experience with QHSE work
- Experience from transport, recycling, or environmentally related operations

We offer a role where you have the opportunity to influence and contribute to the development of our business areas. You will become an important part of an engaged team where collaboration and quality are in focus.
