Registered Nurse/Community Nurse at Sandviken Södra Health Centre

Sandviken Södra Health Centre is a well-established and stable health centre with a dedicated team working closely together to provide patients with good and safe care. Here, we value a work environment where collaboration, well-being, and participation are in focus. We work in a cross-professional manner, including group activities and primary care acute patients, and our operations also include specialized clinics for asthma/COPD, diabetes, incontinence, and wound care.

Job Responsibilities

As a community nurse/registered nurse with us, you will have an independent and varied job with the patient's best interests in focus. You will meet patients of all ages with different needs, making every day unique. The work combines independent tasks with close collaboration with colleagues at the health centre. Working hours are mainly during the day, Monday to Friday. Within the primary care cooperation area of Western Gästrikland, the role includes on-call duties for community nurses, approximately three to four shifts per year, as well as some weekend shifts on the family doctor on-call service.

As a community nurse/registered nurse with us, you will work with, among other things:

  • Your own scheduled clinic
  • Patients seeking urgent care
  • Telephone advice

Qualifications

As a community nurse/registered nurse with us, you are required to have good collaboration skills and be empathetic and communicative in interactions with patients and colleagues. You have a good ability to plan and structure your work efficiently and can put yourself in others' perspectives without taking over their feelings. We appreciate that you are open to and interested in change, can quickly adapt to new circumstances, and enjoy a varied workload.

In the role of community nurse/registered nurse, you must:

  • Be a licensed registered nurse with further education as a community nurse, or alternatively, be a basic registered nurse
  • Hold a valid B driving license

Employment Type: Permanent.
Duration: Permanent.
