Specialist Psychiatric Clinic 2, S:t Eriksplan, is part of North Stockholm Psychiatry and is one of three affective clinics within the section. The clinic has 25 employees with high competence and long experience. We have several research-active physicians and many research projects are conducted within the clinic.

We are divided into two multiprofessional treatment teams, with four specialist physicians in each team. The clinic is located at S:t Eriksplan in newly renovated, fresh premises.

The clinic's main assignment concerns bipolar disorder type 2 and depressions, but we also have a basic assignment regarding other psychiatric diagnoses. This means that as a specialist, you can maintain your general psychiatric core competence in parallel with specializing in affective disorders.

Responsibilities

Clinical patient work. Clinical supervision and teaching for employees, colleagues, and students. If interested, there is an opportunity to give lectures for medical interns (AT-physicians) and other groups. There is also an opportunity to work within the clinic's inpatient care.

Participation in the clinic's ongoing quality and development work is a given.

Qualifications

Specialist Physician in Psychiatry. Special interest in affective disorders, supervision, and teaching is meritorious. You are engaged, receptive, and have a genuine interest in collaborating with other professional groups.

• Register control is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines.
• Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employment examination according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment.
• In addition to a Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed staff with patient contact.
