About the role
As Quality Manager, you will monitor and improve the company's quality management system. You ensure that products meet regulatory requirements and customer specifications. The role involves broad collaboration across the entire organization and is central to maintaining the highest quality standards.
You are offered a significant role in a team where you will have considerable personal responsibility and the opportunity to influence the company's quality work. You will receive support from colleagues in Umeå, but also collaborate extensively with the remote team, as other colleagues in similar roles are based elsewhere.
You will be employed by Academic Work and work on-site at our client's premises. The assignment starts immediately and is initially for one year, but for the right person, there is an opportunity for extension thereafter, provided all parties are satisfied with the collaboration.
Responsibilities
The role encompasses a broad spectrum of tasks within quality assurance, QMS administration, audits, and strategic quality work to ensure the highest product quality and regulatory compliance.
- Quality assurance and release of materials and products.
- Administration and documentation of quality processes within QMS.
- Lead internal and external audits and evaluate suppliers.
- Train staff and act as a consultant on quality matters.
- Drive strategic quality work, including risk management and KPI monitoring.
- Collaborate with partners to synchronize quality systems.
- Work with deviations and Change Management.
We are looking for you who
- Have a university degree in Life Science (e.g., biotechnology, biology, chemistry).
- Have worked in a similar role so that you feel confident independently driving quality work within Life Science.
- Have good proficiency in Swedish and English.
It is an advantage if you have
- Experience from a similar type of company within the medtech industry.
To succeed in the role, you have the following personal qualities:
