Our client is an established player in the electricity and power supply sector. More information about the company will be provided later in the recruitment process. This is a direct hire where Mero manages the process, but the employment is directly with the client.

About the role

In this role, you have overall responsibility for a mix of smaller and larger technical projects – from planning and initiation to final delivery. The focus is on ensuring structure, quality, and clear communication throughout the project. The role covers a mix of both smaller and larger projects – everything from installations to extensive contracting work.

As a project manager, you are responsible for ensuring the project is carried out according to the estimate, schedule, and agreed quality requirements. The work is done in close collaboration with the customer as well as internal functions such as design, production, and procurement. On larger projects, this also includes tendering for subcontractors and continuous handling of changes and additional work. You will work with:

• Planning and leading projects from start to finish
• Ensuring staffing, quality, and follow-up in each phase
• Maintaining customer dialogue before, during, and after the project
• Participating in external construction and installation meetings
• Responsible for schedules, budgets, technical documentation, and quality and environmental work
• Coordinating with internal resources for design, production, logistics, and procurement
• Conducting tenders and managing subcontractors

The position is located in Malmö, and you will become part of a team of project managers.

Who are you?

We are looking for you with a background in electrical power or a related technical field, who thrives in a role with overall responsibility and high self-drive. You have experience working with estimates, quotes, and budget follow-ups, and you are accustomed to coordinating multiple parties towards a common goal.

To succeed in the role, we would like you to have:

• Post-secondary technical education, for example in electrical design, power supply, automation, or a similar field – or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in project management – preferably within electrical power or large contracting projects.
• Good familiarity with working in business systems and handling technical documentation.
• Ability to express yourself well in both Swedish and English, orally and in writing.
• Valid driver’s license (Category B).
