Your Role

We are currently looking for a System Engineer/Maintenance Engineer who wants to work with maintenance technical issues within the areas of mechanics, hydraulics, electromechanics, and safety equipment for aircraft, helicopters, and to some extent ground vehicles.

The work is carried out very independently and offers great opportunities for variation and development, both theoretically and practically, within a very broad operational area. In this role, you will provide internal technical support to our maintenance operations as well as technical support to our marketing department.

Here are some of the areas you will work with:

• Technical analyses and investigations
• Establishment of new maintenance capabilities
• Development and efficiency improvement of maintenance resources
• Preparations and change case management
• Certification of equipment
• Creation and updating of various documentation
• Development and creation of test and maintenance equipment

Business travel may occur, both within and outside Sweden. In the future, we see good opportunities for overseas assignments for those who want and are able to.

Your Profile

Perhaps you currently work with maintenance and are ready for new challenges, or you are an engineer who appreciates working close to the operational environment. We believe you have a technical education or equivalent work experience, preferably within, for example, aircraft maintenance at the system or component level – or from a similar technically complex operation. You are comfortable working both practically and with documentation, and express yourself fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

We believe you are a person who takes responsibility and drives your work forward in a structured manner. You have a genuine interest in technology, enjoy solving problems, and thrive in collaborations where flexibility and lack of hierarchy are a natural part of everyday life.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to the security clearance regulations in effect at the time. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
