We are looking for paramedics for all our stations. As a paramedic, you work together with a specialist nurse to provide the best possible care and nursing in the patient's home, at an accident or injury site, and during transport. At an accident scene, you often collaborate with the police, rescue services, and emergency physicians.

With good local knowledge of Stockholm County, you drive the vehicle during emergency driving. You have the delegation to administer oxygen treatment and are responsible for the technical equipment in the ambulance.

Qualifications

• Assistant nurse with additional training in paramedic care or equivalent experience.
• At least two (2) years of experience as an assistant nurse.
• Experience from emergency care is meritorious.

Other requirements

• B driver's license and good driving experience in city traffic. C/C1 driver's license or qualification is meritorious.
• Good physical condition as heavy lifting often occurs.
• Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

About the Paramedic Care Administration

The Paramedic Care Administration is responsible for paramedic care in Region Stockholm and performs both emergency assignments via 112 and specialized care assignments such as intensive care ambulances and psychiatric ambulances. We provide care where people are and during transport, in close collaboration with other actors in healthcare. Through education, research, and continuous development, we contribute to a safe and modern paramedic care throughout the county.
