Your role

The role of Quality Engineer involves working closely with Saab's production alongside your team members. The tasks are varied, and you will work with problem-solving, coordination, and driving cases, investigations, and improvements, as well as aircraft inspections and handling deviations in production.

You will also be part of the support team in the current production section and work closely with production managers, production engineers, and production controllers.

Your profile

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and believe you are a communicative person who thrives working with different workgroups and functions. You enjoy working with others, driving projects and work forward both independently and in groups.

We see that you:

• Have at least upper secondary education in the technical field or equivalent, or more work experience.
• Have very good collaboration skills.
• Have good analytical skills and good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in both Swedish and English.
• Have quality knowledge such as quality systems, quality control, and/or quality assurance.
• Have experience searching for information in various computer systems.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Practical experience working in the aviation industry.
• Knowledge of production processes.
• Professional experience in quality engineering or quality assurance.
• Experience in systematic problem solving and root cause analysis.

The position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
