Värmdö Vocational High School is located in fresh premises in Gustavsberg. The school is situated in a new residential area near Gustavsberg Harbour. You can reach it conveniently by bus 474 from Slussen in less than 25 minutes.
The school is a vocational high school with its own workshops in electricity, vehicles, plumbing/HVAC, marine technology, and construction.
VYG is a small and family-oriented school with low staff turnover. Currently, there are approximately 170 students at the school. Staff influence is significant and the decision-making chain is short. Taken together, this means that employees feel included in the school as a whole.
The school has a clear organization, and we constantly strive to develop our structure together.
Start date: August 2026.
Responsibilities:

Your profile:
- You are a certified teacher in Social Studies
- You enjoy the challenge of teaching differentiated groups and have a clear structure to carry out the task
- You view mentorship as an important tool for students to achieve their goals
- You are a strong leader while recognizing the importance of relationship-building to achieve success in teaching
