Your Responsibilities

Aerospace Systems is part of the Aeronautics business area and develops, industrializes, and manufactures structures for both the civil and military markets. The Manufacturing Engineering section, within the Defence & Enhanced Capabilities product unit, is responsible for the development, industrialization, and technical support of structures for the business unit's external and internal customers.

In the role of Production Technician, you work to create the prerequisites for efficient and quality-assured production. Your tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Developing documentation describing build sequences, assembly methods, and clear work instructions for operators.
• Participating in the development of new technical solutions.
• Contributing to the development of efficient production systems and assembly lines based on Lean principles.
• Collaborating across many interfaces, both internally and externally.

Your Profile

For this role, we are looking for someone who has:

• A technical university degree or equivalent competence.
• At least 3 years of work experience in a similar field.

The following qualifications are meritorious:

• Experience in production technology within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
• Experience with planning/preparation in IFS, Delmia, or 3DExperience.
• Knowledge of Catia and experience with paced production.

As a person, you are:

• Independent and proactive.
• Clear and pedagogical in your communication, both written and verbal. This is because the role involves writing clear instructions as well as instructing and explaining verbally to people with varying levels of knowledge in the area.
• Collaborative with a good ability to work in teams.
• Curious and humble in interactions with others.

The position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance assessment according to current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
