Assistera Skandinavien AB is a family-oriented company offering personal assistance to individuals with disabilities who are entitled to personal assistance under the Support and Service Act (LSS). We are a smaller company with long experience, and we recognize how important everyone in the operation is – the users, their relatives, and the assistants. Creating good assistance requires that all parties feel comfortable and secure. Our job is to ensure that happens – for you.

We are currently looking for personal assistants for one of our users residing in Ålidhem. We start with a summer temporary position where you will be trained and get a feel for the job. Afterward, there is an opportunity for a permanent position at 80%, 70%, or 60%, or potentially just as an extra hourly substitute. Working hours vary between day, evening, and awake night shifts. Waiting time is also included during work shifts.

We prefer female applicants.

You have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, so that communication with the user and colleagues functions without misunderstandings. As a personal assistant, you are meticulous, responsible, and solution-oriented. You are attentive and have the ability to perceive the user's needs even when they are not expressed in words. You are calm, empathetic, and stable even in stressful situations, and you have a positive attitude towards your work. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

You help the user with what she cannot do herself, based on approved services. This may include:

• Mobility and personal hygiene
• Household chores and daily activities
• Support in communication and social contacts
• Documentation and reporting of incidents and deviations
• Performing delegated or self-care tasks.

Your workplace is wherever the user is – at home or during activities outside the home.

Selection and hiring take place on a rolling basis.
