Your Role

The position of Social Pedagogist involves various tasks and areas of responsibility. A significant part of the work will take place in the classroom. As a Social Pedagogist, you will work purposefully to increase the school's goal fulfillment by focusing on school attendance, safety, and motivation. You will work in a coaching manner with student groups and individual students in collaboration with mentors, teaching teams, the student health team, and school management. The role also includes processing cases regarding special support, with a focus on social mapping.

As a Social Pedagogist, you will be part of the student health team along with counselors, school nurses, special educators, and resource personnel. You will also work closely with the teachers' teams in your role. Together with the other professions at the school, the Social Pedagogist will plan, implement, and follow up on interventions for students and groups.

What we are looking for in you

We are looking for you who are trained as a Social Pedagogist. You are a creative and development-focused person who is completely confident in yourself. You have a well-founded positive view of people and have a very good ability to build relationships with students, guardians, and other school staff. If you have substantial experience working with children and young people from similar roles, it is an advantage.

You learn quickly and want to learn what you do not know, as you are someone who can work independently and for the benefit of the organization. For you, it is important to deliver with quality and to be a person at the workplace that others can trust and turn to. Contributing to students' success in their studies and goal fulfillment is something you take professional pride in.
