About the role

The client is in a strong growth phase and is now looking for a Buyer who wants to help build and develop the purchasing function at the group level. The role is located in the group headquarters and entails overall responsibility for creating structure, direction, and alignment in the purchasing work vis-à-vis the group's subsidiaries.

The group operates in several business areas within infrastructure, including earthworks and construction, power supply, rock excavation, tunnels, and railways. Here, you are offered the opportunity to enter a crucial development phase where you will help establish structure, guidelines, and working methods for the future in a growing nationwide group.

The responsibilities include among other things:

• Develop and implement strategic guidelines for procurement
• Establish structure and processes for the group's procurement work
• Further develop framework agreement work
• Establish new supplier collaborations
• Contribute to competence development within the organization regarding procurement
• Support subsidiaries in strategic and operational procurement matters

We are looking for you who:

We are looking for you who have experience in strategic procurement work, preferably from the construction, contracting, or infrastructure sectors. You have the ability to work both strategically and operationally and thrive in an environment where development, change, and growth are in focus.

• Have experience in building up or developing procurement functions
• Are accustomed to working with framework agreements and supplier development
• Have good business acumen and a structured approach to work
• Are communicative and confident in collaborating with different operations and stakeholders
• Thrive in an entrepreneurial environment where you get to help create structure and direction
