Are you our next Network Technician? We are looking for someone who wants to develop together with us and contribute their expertise in network design, operations, and secure infrastructure. In this role, with at least a few years of work experience in the networking field, you will have the opportunity to further develop in a broad technical role focused on network operations, design, and implementation in complex IT environments.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will work close to business-critical environments where stable and secure networks are crucial. You will be involved in tasks such as:

• Operations, support, and troubleshooting in production-proximity network environments
• Design and implementation of network solutions (low-level design)
• Network migrations and renovations of existing environments
• Implementation of new offices and network infrastructure, including modern SD-WAN/Meraki solutions
• Network segmentation and working with security requirements in larger organizations
• Some parts of the environment are outsourced, meaning you will also have dialogues with external suppliers

The client has offices centrally in Gothenburg, and you can work partially from home. You will need to travel to the client's other facility just outside Gothenburg occasionally; therefore, a driver's license is required, and having access to a car is highly meritorious.

We would like you to have

• At least a few years of work experience in network-related roles in complex IT environments
• Knowledge of network technology such as TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network design
• Experience with firewalls, preferably Palo Alto
• Experience working with Cisco, Meraki, or similar network platforms
• Understanding of network security, segmentation, and modern architectures such as SASE
• Experience with tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence
• Good understanding of monitoring and operations of network environments
• Fluent communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written
• A valid B-category driver's license

Meritorious

• Access to a personal car
• Experience with data center infrastructure and migration projects
• Knowledge of Citrix or similar virtualization environments
• Experience working in large, global organizations with high security requirements
